A collection of placards and wall newspapers - Jewish National Fund. Most of the items are from the late 40s -50s.
The collection includes :
* Wall newspapers published by Jewish National Fund’s main bureau, Jerusalem, 1940s. "Moledet", newspaper edition "BeMoledet" / "BaAretz" (the newspaper changed its title), "Itonno, a wall newspaper for children" (First issue, May – June 1947) and "News From Palestine" (English). The newspapers discuss the building of the settlements in Israel, before and after the establishment of the state of Israel, and include many images (black and white).
* Registration Certificate in the Golden Book of the Jewish National Fund. Was granted to a “member of the executive committee and the head of the directorate of the Jewish National Fund in Middle Europe, "Dr. Arthur Hantke, 1923. Hand -signed by Menachem Ussishkin .
* A poster, printed on behalf of the members of “Mizrachi” movement, which encourages to donate to the Jewish National Fund . “HaPoel HaMizrachi” Press, Tel - Aviv [1940s] .
* Poster published by the Jewish National Fund and the Teachers Council for the JNF: "HaMa’apilim Ya’apilu!" Placard with photographs of illegal immigrants upon their arrival to Eretz Israel (the photographs are originally from "Dvar HaShavua"); A colorful calendar for children for the year (1953-4), with details about the JNF monthly activities; A "Memory board" in memory of Herzl , with photographs and text about him, and more.
* Colorful wall images, a series of "beSade ve baKfar" for kindergartens and primary schools. Published by the Department of Youth Education, Jewish National Fund, Jerusalem. 18 posters from a series of 20 posters for schools and kindergartens. Colorful illustrations that depict agricultural subject matters. Original folders .
Total of approximately 55 items. Size and condition varies. Some of the posters are linen-backed for display and preservation .
