Birth Certificate – Regensdorf, 1850 – Rabbi Moshe Schiff's Signature
Birth certificate of Yitzchak Schwartz (born 1846), signed by Rabbi Moshe Schiff. Regensdorf (Rajka), Hungary, 1850.
On top of the certificate appears a document-stamp and on the bottom Rabbi's signature (in foreign language) and wax stamp "Moshe… Schiff" in Hebrew and in foreign language. Additional wax stamps of the Regensdorf's Jewish Community committee.
Rabbi Moshe Schiff (Died on Simchat Torah 1855, Otzar Ha-Rabanim 15193) Rabbi of Regensdorf in Hungary. His approbations [of the years 1846 / 1850?] on the book "Nachlat Zvi" by Rabbi Zvi Gutmacher and the book "Tzemach Neurim" (Prague, 1858).
