Lot containing 2 items related to Theresienstadt Concentration Camp:
A postcard sent from the Terezin concentration camp to a family in Berlin. Bearing a stamp with the portrait of the oppressor. Apparently to thank the family for a package she sent to the camp as part of the deception and deception conducted there.
The second item is an internal postage stamp from the Terezin camp. The internal mail in Terezin was also intended to mislead the Red Cross inspectors who came to the site and to disguise the horrors of the place as a legitimate and good place to live for the Jews living there.
