Group of [7] Photographs of Jerusalem in Honor of Wilhelm's Visit, which were Distributed as Cards with Chocolate Bars, Germany, Early 20th Century
The cards were distributed with chocolate bars made by the Stollwerck company. The cards are divided into numbered groups. Before us are numbers 4, 5, and 6 from group 81, and numbers 1-4 from group 82. Each card has a photographs and caption on one side, and a detailed description in German on the other side.
Photographs: docking at the Haifa port (new, special pier erected for the emperor), the special entrance to the city, inauguration of the Dormition Abbey, visit to the Mount of Olives, visit of the procession to Beit Lechem, inauguration of the Church of the Redeemer, and more.
Fine condition, glue marks, there are blemishes in some of the texts on the back of the cards.
