Ateret Tiferet Yisrael. Lublin, 1875. Segulah Book with a Promise from Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin. Pedigree Copy

"... so that there will be protection in their homes and an abundance of blessing and success ..." (- The Tzaddik of Shtefanesht).

Ateret Tiferet Yisrael is a segulah work on the weekly Torah portions by Rabbi Yisrael bar Shlomo Charif, one of the Ba'al Shem Tov's disciples. With many approbations from the Admo"rs of Ruzhin, Chernobyl, Kossov, Tolna and others. Before us is the personal copy of Rabbi Meir Shapira of Lublin, originator of Daf Yomi.

"This book is full of holy Names and names of angels capable of healing and protection from the four categories of damagers, and to effect blessing and success. Therefore (the Admo"r of Ruzhin) said with the clarity of his words, that the writings of this author are a segulah for excellent protection and effecting peace and blessing." - (From the words of Rabbi Avraham Ya'akov of Sadigura's approbation, in the name of his father, the Admo"r of Ruzhin.) The Admo"r Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Shtefanesht wrote: "... so that there will be protection in their homes and an abundance of blessing and success." The Admo"r Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl writes in his approbation: "And I will also say this to all who buy this holy book at its designated price: They can be reassured that the merit of the author will protect them, and the sanctity of the notebook will place blessing in their homes, protect them with their wives and children, and the members of their households, with complete health, and bring them success as in the good years for blessing ..."

Personal stamps of Rabbi Meir Shapira of Lublin while he served as Av Beit Din of Piertrkov (before he established Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin), as well as the stamp of Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin. It is known that after Rabbi Meir Shapira established Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin, he transferred some of his personal library there.
