Many notations on Halachah on the 'Tur Choshen Mishpat', by Hrh"k Rabbi Alter of Leluv – Sosnowica 'The Rebbi of Eretz Yisrael', Warsaw 1868. Very rare!
Tur Choshen Mishpat, Warsaw edition 1868, on it stamp of ownership by Hrh"k 'Avraham Betzalel Noson Nata ben Htzh"k Rabbi Elazer Menachem ztzvkllh"h Biderman Jerusalem'.
Inside editing of Halachah, personally hand written, most notations are specifically about the laws of loans.
Generaly, Chidushei Torah and Halachah are not found hand written by the righteous admor"im of Leluv household, as they very much obscured their greatness in Torah and Halachah. The notations here, therefore, are very unique
and rare.
Also includes two signatures of The holy Kabbalist Rabbi Yedidya Refael Chay Abulafya - "The Yare"h", Rosh Yeshiva of the famous Yeshiva for Mekubalim 'Beit El'.
Original cover damaged. Few moth damage with nothing missing. General condition good –very good.
Hrh"k Rabbi Alter of Leluv – Sosnowica [1862-1933] was the son of Hrh"k Rabbi Elazer Menachem Mendel of Leluv and brother of Hrh"k Rabbi David Tzvi Shlomo [R' David'el]. He returned to Poland from Jerusalem and served as Admo"r in the city Sosnowica from there his glorious name spread as bringing about salvation, inspiration, and being a great Oved Hashem [servant of G-d].
The Kabbalist Rabbi Yedidya Refael Chay Abulafya - "The Yare"h" [1806-1869].
תלמידו של הרב רפאל אברהם שלום מזרחי שרעבי, ראש "ישיבת המקובלים בית אל" ונכדו של הרש"ש הקדוש, שהיה גם הוא ראש הישיבה עד פטירתו בתקפ"ז. הוא מתואר כ-"צדיק המדוכא ביסורים ומתפרנס מיגיעו, חסידא קדישא, פרוש מבטן ומהריון". את גדולתו בחכמת הנסתר ניתן לראות מהקדמותיו, חידושיו והערותיו שנדפסו בראש ספרי תלמיד האר"י ר' חיים ויטאל. עם חיבוריו נמנים הספרים "דרך ושלום", והספר "קניין פירות" על כוונות הרש"ש, הרבה הערות חשובות שנכתבו על ידו הדפסו בסידור הרש"ש המכונה "הסידור הנדפס" שכן עד אז היו הסידורים צילום של כתבי יד. בהערות חשובות אלה שמו חתום בר"ת- "היר"א" וכך נחקק שמו בין חכמי המקובלים.
