Document tentatively dated between 1870 and 1871, during the period in which General Porfirio Díaz Mori served as Worshipful Master of various Lodges in Mexico City prior to his rise to the Presidency of the Republic. It bears the autograph signature “P. Díaz” with the Masonic abbreviation “V∴ M∴”, as well as the signatures of the Dignitaries and Officers: First Warden, Second Warden, Orator, and Secretary. The content records the ceremony of installation of the Lodge officers, assumption of office by the Officers, oaths taken, and the opening of works. A significant piece linking the future President of Mexico to the liberal Freemasonry of the 19th century. No page numbering or foliation present. Condition report: Slight traces of humidity, minor folds, and overall browning consistent with age. Thread stitching along the spine. The document retains sufficient textual and historical integrity. Historical Importance: Lodge Christ Nº24 was one of the most influential lodges in the Valley of Mexico. The signature as W∴ M∴ places Porfirio Díaz as head of the Lodge prior to his first presidential term in 1876.
