Chidushei R. Chaim Ha'Levi. First Edition. Brisk 1936.
R. Chaim HaLevi Soloveitchik known as R. Chaim Brisker (1853-1918), was the founder of the popular ‘Brisker’ approach to Talmud study, a method of highly exacting and analytical study that focuses on precise definitions and categorizations of Jewish law with particular emphasis on the RaMBaM. Following many years as a Magid shiur in the renowned Volozhiner Yeshiva, he succeeded his father (Bais HaLevi) as Rov of Brisk. His primary work was Chidushei Rabbeinu Chaim HaLevi; a volume of insights on the RaMBaM, which was published posthumously by his sons. This sefer is one of the most fundamental works in the Lithuanian school of Yeshivas.
This sefer was printed on three different levels of paper, this copy is printed on the medium level paper.
J. Levin press. 1, 112 pages. 33 cm. Fine condition. Original binding, front board detached. With a slipcase.
