AN ENGLISH TORTOISE SHELL CLOCK, 18TH CEN.
Neoclassical design tortoise shell case inlaid with ivory and painted white wood trim. Dial with Roman Numerals, second hand dial and the words "Due Our A Corbeil". The thermometer is attached to a back plate that is marked Paris 1743. Glass dome covers the clock and the bell is located in the black wood base that the clock sits on. Movement tested.
