Roman Judean Tiberius ancient AE Pruta coin year 11, 24-25 AD, G-GF Hen-1340
Roman Provincial coinage (Roman procurators) > Judea > Tiberius (14 - 37 CE): AE Pruta (14.75 x 16mm, 1.95g), dated year 11 (24/25 AD); obverse: small lettered legend on 3 lines TIB KAI CAP ("Tiberius Caesar") within wreath; reverse: legend IOY ΛIA on either upper side of right curving palm branch at center + year letter L IΛ on either lower side of the branch. Reference: Hen-1340; Good/Good Fine, nicely centered reverse with much detail & nice earthy patina; medallic alignment.
