Judean Porcius Festus/Nero ancient AE Pruta coin year 5, 58-59 AD, GF, Hen-1351
Roman Provincial coinage (Roman procurators) > Judea > Porcius Festus (59/60 - 62 CE) dated to Nero's regnal years 54-68 AD: AE Pruta (15.5mm, 2.3g), dated year 5 (58/59 AD); obverse: 3-lined legend NEP WNO C ("of Nero") within wide 'U' shaped leaves of wreath tied at base by X - note the rotated C just above it; reverse: palm branch at center & legend LE KAIC|APOC around. Reference: Hen-1351; Good Fine, fairly well centered on small/cropped flan + decent detail for an issue generally seen in poor condition & dark/gray patina; medallic alignment, slightly rotated.
