This 1974 Cadillac Eldorado is an original example of the manufacturer's flagship personal luxury coupe, finished in white with a dark blue vinyl landau roof and blue pinstriping. It is powered by the massive 500 cubic inch (8.2L) V8 engine paired with a 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. Starts, runs and drives well. Accelerates and shifts, though we haven't' taken this car down the road - just down the long driveway. No leaks observed and stays cool at idle. Really nice! This ”cream puff” has been with the same owner for 50 years, having been purchased in December 1976 from Len Immke Buick in Columbus, Ohio. The vehicle features a remarkably well-preserved Medici-style blue velour interior with dark blue carpeting and simulated woodgrain accents on the dashboard and door panels. Documentation includes a 1976 State of Ohio Certificate of Title. The odometer indicates 41,130 original miles. The vehicle starts, runs, and drives, but will require brake work (the brakes are soft - we always recommend a service and/or upgrade on old caddy brakes as these cars are heavy!) and the air conditioning needs service. The blue velour interior is extremely clean and remains in collector-grade condition with minimal wear. Exterior quite good with some paint chips here and there but nothing major showing. Underside is very clean as well. Rust behind the front wheels under the chrome trim is about the only deeper rust I saw. All flexible plastic bumper filler panels are missing and require replacement. The rockers and frame look good. The vehicle is fitted with two new Mohave tires and two very old Patriot brand tires; it must be trailered or towed away by the buyer. The relative of the elderly owner put these two tires on just so we could get the car loaded and moved to its current spot. The automatic trunk closure is functional but leaves a slight gap when closed. We have a clean title issued in 1976 in hand and ready to give you once payment is made. Please come and take a look at this car! It's a real beauty, but like all of our auctions - all sales are final.
