Personal copy of Hrh"k Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Visheve, with his holy hand signature, dated Monday Tetzave – 6th day of Adar 1904. Including several hand written comments.
 
Received the sefer from his father-in-law and uncle Hrh"tz Rabbi Mordechei Chodorov (of Tolna-Viznitz) son-in-law of the holy 'Imrei Baruch' of Viznitz, as indicated by his holy handwriting.
At the end of the sefer is a rare stamp: 'מנחם מענדיל האגער בהרה"צ שליט"א הרב הצעיר דק"ק וענ...יצא והגליל יע"א

T he Holy Rabbi of Vishova, Hgh"k Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager [1885-1941], firstborn son of Hrh"k The "Ahavat Yisrael" of Viznitz. From the year 1908 he served as Rav in the city of Viznitz and Rosh Yeshiva of "Beit Yisrael". In the year 1921 he was crowned as Rav of Oyber-Visheve (Vişeu de Sus), there too he set up a wonderful Yeshiva that was the biggest Yeshivah in Romania, with over  400 students. In the year 1936 after the passing of his father the 'Ahavat Yisrael' he started to serve as Admor and was admiringly and affectionately called 'Rabbi Mendel of Vishiva'. He continued spreading of Torah in his Yeshivah and likewise worked a lot in all of Maramureș areas to establish Torah and religion. Likewise he was also from the leaders and great activist of the Agudat Yisrael and a member of "Moetzet Gedolai HaTorah". He passed away in the month of Tevet, 1941.

Two cover pages captions in red ink. Many moth holes at the bottom of all the pages of the sefer with damage to text. Extensive stains. Fair condition.
