Sefer Mitzvot Gadol, by the Tosefist Rabbi Moshe ben Yaakov of Coucy, is one of the fundamental books in Ashkenazi halachic rulings. Sefer Hasmag was also the first book by a French or Ashkenazi chacham who based his work extensively on the Rambam’s Mishneh Torah.
This fragment is a section from positive mitzva 50, which includes the halachot of divorce. Written on parchment.
Manuscripts of Sefer Mitzvot Gadol from the Middle Ages are not extant.
