Ginat Vradim Volume 1, Constantinople 1717. Scholarly glosses
Rabbi Avraham the son of Rabbi Mordechai Halevi (1650-1704) was a renowned chacham in Egypt and the rabbi of Cairo. His book, Ginat Vradim, was regarded very highly among Torah scholars of the generations since then, and some of them (such as Rabbi Akiva Eiger) wrote glosses on this book.
At the top of the book is a signature of ownership by an unknown chacham named Meir Cohen. There are a few scholarly comments in the same handwriting on the Gan Hamelech section at the end of the book. In one of these comments, he mentions the responsa of Ginat Vradim that were first published in 1835. He also notes in this comment that they contributed to his chiddushim.
Complete. Fair condition. Old bindings. Pages in varying conditions. 158 pages, 27 cm.
