Avodat Kodesh, by Rabbi Meir the son of Gabai (1480-1540) was one of the greatest medieval kabbalists. He was among the Jews expelled from Spain and was buried in Eretz Israel. This book is his major work and consists of “four parts, which prepare a person properly for holy service.” This book is considered one of the most important books by Spanish kabbalists, and preceded the works of the Arizaʺl.
139 pages. Good condition. The title page has a handwritten line that has not been deciphered.
