Midrash Rabba – Amsterdam, 1725
The book Midrash Rabba on the Torah and five megillot with commentaries, and for the first time with the commentary Mishnat Rabbi Eliezer by Rabbi Eliezer of Pinshov and the commentary Zera Avraham by Rabbi Avraham of Galona. The title page has an illustration of Moshe with the tablets and Aharon the high priest, the cherubs and Jacob’s dream. Amsterdam, 1725. With handwritten glosses and corrections. Ownership signature: belongs to Shlomo Zvi son of Chaim from … [?] and an additional long signature in Latin letters. A faded copy, binding is detached, spine is frayed, stains, moderate overall condition.
