The Dutch Consulate in Moscow helps financially to the Jews of the Soviet Union or not? 2 letters from Rabbi Shlomo Yosef Zevin. Lot 2 letters with the same content from Rabbi Shlomo Yosef Zevin to Rabbi Yehuda Gur on the subject of Soviet Jews
The contents of the letter Rabbi Yehuda Gur told Rabbi Zevin that the Dutch Consulate in Moscow is helping financially older Jews who are given permission to leave the USSR and have no money, the consulate "pays the money".
And in fact, Rabbi Zevin's daughter was given permission to leave Russia and they had no money and based on what Rabbi Gur told Rabbi Zevin they went to the aforementioned consulate for help and they received an answer they had no.
And since 3 other family members have been given permission to go out and have no money he asks him to try to help them get the money they need.
2 letters on Rabbi Zevin's official paper, 1 entirely in his handwriting and signature, and the other is printed and only Rabbi Zevin's signature.
In the 1970s, the Soviet Union began to allow some Jews to immigrate to Israel in case a relative applied for family reunification, and after paying for a visa and additional permits and payment of travel and expenses, the sum wasn’t small and a large proportion of exit permit recipients did not have these amounts and were rejected. The letters are on this subject.
Good condition - very good.
