1. Etvas tsur eynzicht fir das izraelitishe publicum, by Shmuel Detmold. Vienna: Anton Schmid press, 1816.
A composition by Shmuel Detmold (1765-1829), a member of the Jewish Enlightenment Movement and one of the initiators of translating the bible into German, which criticizes the German translation of "Nevi'im Rishonim" edited by Aaron Falk (Vienna: G. Holzinger Press, 1814).
37 leaves, approx. 21 cm. Good condition. Stains. Creases and minor blemishes. Pencil notations (on the cover and title page).

Printed leaflet – a comparison between the translations of "Nevi'im Rishonim" by Shmuel Detmold and Aaron Falk, showing the advantages of the first translation over the second (the leaflet is signed "L.H" (Hebrew).
