Responsa of the Rav. Questions and Answers by Rabbi Yitzhak Bar Sheshet [HaRibash]. Koshta. [1546-1547]. First Edition. [303] leaves. Also includes all the pages of the index and the amendments. First edition of Responsa of the Ribash. Original distributed as individual pamphlets to subscribers who paid in advance. The pamphlets were distributed in the synagogue on Shabbat. Halachic discussions were held about this. See: Avraham Yaari, the Hebrew Press in Koshta, Jerusalem 5727, page 103, number 145. There are copies where the title page was bond after the indexes. Ancient signatures of the owners. Stamp of Rabbi Benjamin Fox, Rabbi of Grossvordein [5637-5696] student of the Baal HaShevet Sofer. He died in the middle of a sermon in which he expounded on the importance of avoiding arguments and uniting due to the great dangers that stood before the Jews. His writings were lost in the Shoah. Title page restored in the margins. Light blemishes on the amendment leaves at the end. In good condition.
