Chidushei Torah from Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv. [1] leaf lined. 16 x 20 cm. Extensive notes on both sides of the page. Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv [1910-2012] was born in the city Chavel in Lita as an only child to his parents after 17 years of marriage. In 1924 he made aliyah to Israel with his family and settled in the Meah Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem. As a child he helped his grandfather the kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo Elyashiv with his composition Leshem Shvo Vachlama. He studied Torah in various Batei Midrash in Jerusalem. Eventually became renowned as the posek hador and leader of the Ashkenazi Charedi Jews. Not checked if the novella were published. Minimal stains which ruin the text. Fine condition.
