'אין בידינו למחות ביד המקילין' Essential letter from the great Posek of the generation the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, about the Eiruv in Manahatan, 1961.
Important and essential letter from the Great Gaon, the pillar of Hora'ah of the generation, great Posek of Judaism in the United States, Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, on the matter of the Kashrut and the use of the Eiruv in the Manhattan, NY neighborhood.

As known, a dispute started at that time among the American Jewry about the matter of the Kashrut of the Eiruv in the New York neighborhood of Boro Park, Flatbush, and Manhattan. All great Rabbanim and Poskim were sided on either side raising different perceptions. The contends of the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Feinstein was predominant prohibiting the Eiruv in the Boro Park neighborhood, and this was the dominant and accepted attitude for many years. Many of the Chareidi public in the United States do not carry due to this conclusion.
This document states, Rabbi Moshe Feinsteins Halachic and legal verdict about the Kashrut of the Eiruv in Manhattan neighborhood. The Gaon Rabbi Moshe Feinstein specifies what he brings in his monumental sefer 'Igrot Moshe' suppositions who permit and those who don’t allow, and he rules that it is not in our hands to permit against those that don’t. He brings a great proof from Jerusalem that an Eiruv has not been made.
But, Rabbi Moshe Feinstein writes We don’t have the strength in our hands to protest those that permit and if they set up an Eiruv it is permissible according to some standards. Therefor he decisively rules, he cannot personally help with setting up and Eiruv because of many obstacles that arise from this, though, Rabanim that contemplate to set this up – may do as they accept.
11 lines all personally hand written with his full signature.
