Greeting card, blessings for a healthy and long life, personally hand written by the Posek of the generation the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalmen Aurbach.
Official greeting card for a Good New Year from the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalmen Aurbach.
Printed on one side blessing signed by: "שלמה זלמן אויערבאך ומשפחתו". On the other side the Gaon wrote his cordial blessings by hand: :
"... והנני מאחל לו כי עד מהרה ישלח ד' דברו וירפאהו ויחזקהו ויאמצהו ויברכהו ד' באורך ימים ושנות חיים ושלו' ויכתב ויחתם יחד עם נוות ביתו תח' וביתו היקרה תחי' ... בספרן של צ"ג לאלתר לחיים טובים ולשלו' ".
Rabbi Shlomo Zalmen Aurbach (1910-1995), Gaon and Posek of the generation. Was from the great Poskei Halacha and pillar of Hora'ah in the last generation. Born to his father the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Rosh Yeshivat HaMekubbalim 'Shaar Shamayim'.He became close to the Gaon the 'Even HaEzel' Rabbi Isser Zalmen Meltzer. He did 'Shimush Chachamim' by Geonim of the generation: The Gaon of Tchebin, Rav of Taplik, the Gaon Rabbi Zelig Reuven Bengis. He was Rosh Yeshiva of 'Yeshivat Kol Torah' in Beit VeGan.
