The cultural acts ... only in their power to lift the situation of the Herut Party after its big election victory. ' Two letters by Prof. Joseph Klausner

Two letters handwriting and signed by Prof. Joseph Klausner. The letters were addressed to the Irgun and Knesset Member Esther Raziel Naor. 1956.

Clausner adds: "A few months ago, I sent Mr. Begin a detailed memorandum on the cultural acts that could only lift the status of the Freedom Party after her big election victory". Clausner adds that due to his bad health, he will not be able to include his name among the members of the movement council, but offers his help in providing advice as needed. On the end of the letter, Klausner adds congratulations to the Bar Mitzvah of Naor's son: "May he grow in Torah and good deeds Religious - national , and will be to the glory of the Raziel Naor family and all of Israel in the completed Land of Israel".

In other letter from Tevet 1956, Klausner apologizes for not being able to attend the Department of Education and Culture due to his health after being excited at the Bialik Prize ceremony. At the end of the letter, Klausner asks Ms. Naor to visit him at his home: "At 4-5 in the afternoon I'm almost always at home. I don't have a phone".
