Di Kleiner Brigade ("The Little Brigade") - Handwritten poem and signature by Yiddish poet Kadia Molodowski, apparently not printed / photograph of Molodowski.

Kadia Molodovsky (1894-1975) a Yiddish poet and writer. Born in Poland. She became very famous for her children's songs about the world of poor Jewish children in Warsaw in the 1930s. Her work deals with the emotional, hidden motives behind human behavior. In the beginning, she worked and created a Jewish cultural center operating in Warsaw. She belonged to the "modernist" Yiddish stream (other prominent writers include: Uri Zvi Greenberg, Peretz Markish, Isaac Bashavis-Singer). In 1920 she published her first poems, in the Yiddish journal "Eygns". In 1935, she moved to New York. Her most famous work in the post-World War II period is the book 'King David Remains Alone', which includes poems written in response to the Holocaust. Her poetry before the Holocaust was light, fun and joyous. After the Holocaust, she tended to write about the horrors of the Holocaust and many of her poems have a hard tone. Molodowski immigrated to Israel after the Holocaust. In 1971 she won the Itzik Manger Prize for literary works in Yiddish, in recognition of her work. Named after it are streets in several localities in Israel, including Petah Tikva and Zichron Yaacov.
