'All citizens are warned of the consequences of being in unlawful possession of, carrying or using firearms, bombs, grenades, or other warlike stores. The possession of such articles is punishable with imprisonment for life and the carrying or using of them is punishable with DEATH'. Rare.


'Proclamation by the officer administering the Government'. Trilingual poster -Hebrew, English, Arabic, by the British rule in Israel signed (in print) by Robert Scott . November 15, 1945. At the top of the poster is the emblem of the British Kingdom.

The threat of death punishment for possession of firearms has resulted to increased underground activity in the Land of Israel, and their strength in response.
