Postcards of Jews in traditional dress from various cities in Morocco: fez, Casablanca (the largest of Morocco and the Maghreb communities), the Atlas, Meknes, Marrakech, and others. Among the postcards: a rural Jewish figure, young boys, the market in Casablanca, a Jewish bride, a rabbinical figure, a mother and her son, Jews engaged in trading in the Malah neighborhoods [a parallel name for the ghetto among Ashkenazi Jews. The Malah was an area in the walls to separate it from the Muslim quarters, and to protect it from frequent anti-Jewish riots, especially during periods of instability], a Jewish courtyard, and more.
