Letter laden with blessings upon the marriage of a daughter from the Admo"r Rabbi Ya'akov Yosef of Spinka. Bnei Brak, 1972.
The rebbe blesses: "May it be His will that this match be beautiful and bring much spiritual pleasure and satisfaction."
Rabbi Ya'akov Yitzchak Weiss [1916-1988] established Spinka Chassidism in the generation after the Holocaust. He was a grandson of the author of Hachkel Yitzchak. He served as a lecturer at his grandfather's yeshivah in Selish. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Alter Menachem Mendel of Brusa and served as the young rabbi of the city. His wife and three children were killed in the Holocaust. After the Holocaust, he remarried, to Perl, daughter of his uncle, Rabbi Avrahm Abish Horowitz of Karoly, and began to serve as the Admo"r of Brusa. With the recommendation of Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager, the Admo"r of Vizhnitz, he began to serve as Admo"r of Spinka. He alternately lived in the United States and in Israel. He established the Spinka yeshivah in Bnei Brak in 1969, and was one of the prominent Admo"rs.
