[2] Letters from Rabbi Yisrael of Husiatyn
Two letters from the Admo" r Rabbi Yisrael of Husiatyn, signed by the gabba'im.
1: Interesting letter signed by the gabbai Lipa Shveger, sent in response to the inquiry of a Jew in 1938, as to where it is preferable to flee, in which he writes: " And he gives his experienced counsel to travel to America, because there are many Jews there, B" H, and in Africa they are generous but few. He blesses [you] with success in all [your] endeavors."
2: Letter signed by the gabbai Shmuel Wilner on the Admo" r's stationery blank, with blessings in the name of the Admo" r on the occasion of a bar mitzvah, " May his parents merit raising him with satisfaction and comfort, and have pleasure and satisfaction from him and all their progeny, blessing and success, and may Hash-m fulfill all their hearts' desires for the good ..."
