Pri Chadash on Yoreh De’ah—Furth 1769 with many handwritten notes, and stamp of Krakow’s first-ever Chassidic Beit Midrash
By Rabbi Chezekaya ben David di Siloa. [1], 129 pages—page numbering is messed up in part, 131 pages were counted by auctioneers. Old, worn binding, tears at the edges of the cover and some pages, repairs at the edges of some pages which damage the text. Last page is partially detached, a few moth holes and stains, generally ok to good condition. Important stamps of the “Purchasers of Books for the Beit Midrash of Rav Aharon, Krakow— Rabbi Aharon Shapira, son of the Meor v’Shemesh. Stamps are from the first Chassidic Beit Midrash of Krakow, established in his father’s name, Rabbi Klonimus Kalman Shapira, the Me’or V’Shemesh. The copy has many handwritten notes, some of which are long, with marei mekomot and chiddushim or praise for the book. On the back of the binding is the note: “Moshe Meir Meir Rotenburg.”
