Midrash Rabot on the Torah and Five Megillot, with a new commentary called “Nechmad LaMar’eh” by Rabbi Shlomo Shalem, printed in Amsterdam at the Kassmann and Sons publishing and bookselling firm. Illustrated cover, handsome wood-cut engraving with: Moses and Aaron, Yosef and David, each wearing the following crowns: Keter Torah, Kehunah, Malkhut, and Shem Tov. Two covers, endorsements from rabbis of Holland: [4], 226, 95 pages. Partially missing cover—according to the bibliographic listing it is missing one page between the two numberings. New, handsome binding, gilded imprints, many stains, a few bits of moth holes, lone tears (light), generally good condition.
