Kabbalist Rabbi Sasson Bachar Moshe [1925-1903], known as the "Prisyado" ("Yakar" in Ladino), leader of the Kabbalistic community and yeshiva in Beit El. Born in Orgok, Bosnia, then within the Ottoman Empire, to a family attributed to Rabbi Yosef Karo. At the age of five (1830), his family immigrated to Eretz Israel. In Jerusalem, he studied with Rabbi Vidal Koinka of the Beit Midrash Beit E-L and the head of Yeshivat Hesed E-l, author of Chuk Chaim and Rabbi David Chayat. In cooperation with his brother, he printed a number of Kabala books of Kabbalists who preceded them. In 1882, at the age of 57, he was appointed Rosh Yeshiva of the Kabbalist Yeshiva in Beit El, where he held 21 years until his passing on nissan, 1903. Among his students, Rabbi Shalom Hadaya and Rabbi Moshe Idan of Tunisia .
