Sterling Silver & Glass Stamp Box by Saunders & Shepherd, Chester, England, 1899.
Rectangular form, the hinged lid is mounted with beveled glass.
The gilt interior is divide into three stamp compartments.
Fully hallmarked (several times) for Chester, England, dated 1899, maker’s mark for the renowned silversmiths Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd.
