Volume of Unprinted Torah Novellae – [Hungary [?], the Eve of the Holocaust]
The manuscript contains novellae on the Berachot tractate (including on the Aggadot), on the Torah, the Book of Psalms, and sermons on various matters.
The volume was seemingly written by a single writer; however, we cannot rule out the possibility that it was written by several writers and possibly, it is a copying of some composition written by a disciple of the author in preparation for its printing.
On the back of the volume, it was written: "Sefer HaChaim VeHaShalom". Possibly this is the title of the manuscript.
Some of the novellae was erased by line; however, they are totally readable.
Appearing on the flyleaves at the beginning of the volume are names for prayers and various inscriptions.
Good overall condition. Typical wear. Several leaves are detached. Wear to the margins of some leaves.
Approx.80 of the first leaves are written and the rest are blank.
