Chidushei Torah Handwritten by the Chassam Sofer on Yom Tov Succos - Prostitz 1792; At the very young age of 29. Large Page

Amazing Torah Novellae on Tractate Sukkos. While writing these novellae the Chassam Sofer was only 29 years old and these were the years when he had just begun to teach and spread his Torah knowledge.

Even though these ideas were written in his youth, they have taste of maturity, and as the student of the Maharam Schick said, the spirit of Hashem was with him from his childhood as in his elder.

These novellae as the caption reads, were written down by the Chassam Sofer on Yom Tov Succos, in Prostitz 1792.

Segula of the Chasam Sofer's Manuscripts:

It was famously known that just looking upon the handwriting of the Chassam Sofer is in itself a segula for yiras shamayim – as related in the name of Reb Mordechai Banet. The descendants of the Chassam Sofer would keep his Ksav Yad as a segula for protection against all harm.

19 X 31 cm. Written on both sides of the page. Entirely in his handwriting. A few words are faded, mainly at the margins.
