Letter from Rabbi Shimon Aharon Sofer, AB"D of Nowe Miasto (Ir Chadash), Regarding the Nitra Rav. Vienna, 1926
A long letter of Torah thoughts and a question regarding whether he should accept the offer from Rabbi Shmuel David Ungar of Nitra, to be a teacher in his yeshiva in Tirnau (Trnava).
Rabbi Shimon Aharon Sofer (1896-1943) was the son of Rabbi Moshe (son of Rabbi Yoel, the son of Rabbi Shimon Sofer, AB"D Cracow, son of the Chassam Sofer). Rabbi Shimon Aharon taught in Rabbi Shmuel David Ungar’s yeshiva in Tirnau before accepting the position as rabbi of Nowe Miasto. In 1942 he was murdered by the Nazis in Libertów.
