Sefer Beis Aharon by Rabbi Aharon of Karlin. Segula Book. First edition, Brody, 1875. Wide margins

The fundamental book on the teachings of Chassidus and Karlin Chassidus in particular, by Rabbi Aharon (the second) from Karlin. This book was even published as a segula book for Chassidim and even for the prestigious rabbis of Lithuania, who would put it under the pillow of a woman experiencing a difficult childbirth, as related by Rabbi Baruch Ber of Kamenitz.

Rabbi Aharon (the second) of Karlin was the son of Rabbi Asher of Stolin. He was one of the great Chassidic leaders and tzaddikim of his generation. His holy sefer, Beis Aharon, is one of the fundamental books of Chassidic teachings.
On the back page, written in pencil: Rabbi Pinchas Ari (Uri) son of Rabbi David Tzvi Shlomo Biderman of Lelov-Yerushalayim.

30 cm. [6], 316, [6]. ff. 2 title pages. Nice copy with wide margins. Stefansky, Chassidus, No. 82. Stefansky, Sifrei Yesod, No. 394.
