Signature of Rabbi Chaim Hillel Fried of Volozhin, on Shulchan Aruch Arizal. Vilna 1881.

Rabbi Chaim Hillel Fried (1837-1911) son of Rabbi Eliezer Yitzchok Fried and grandson of Reb Chaim of Volozhin. When the Beis Halevi left Volozhin to Brisk, Reb Chaim Hillel was appointed as sub-Rosh Yeshiva of Volozhin alongside the Netziv. He also edited the "Chut Hameshulash".

At the end of the sefer is another signature "Shmuel Avigdor", apparently his son-in-law Rabbi Shmuel Avigdor Drachinsky, who was a talmid of the Holy Meshch Chochma Reb Meir Simcha of Dvinsk. Eventually he served as Rav in Eretz Yisroel: in Yavnael, and Yerushalayim.

18 cm. 46; 80, [3]; 22 ff. Bound with Mecholas Hamachanayim - Peterburg 1859. Avkas Rochel - Warsaw 1876.
