An extremely rare certificate of rabbinic ordination in the holy handwriting and signature of the the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Engel, the Av Beis Din of Cracow.
Rabbi Yosef Engel, the Av Beis Din of Krakow (1859-1920) was an amazing genius in Torah and halacha, sharp to the point that one of his relatives said that his brain was almost comparable to that of Rabbi Yonasan Eybeschütz. He remembered everything he’d ever read and never forgot anything, and left 101 manuscripts.
