József Patai: HERZL- חתימת הסופר This book was written by a fan of the Zionist leader who was buried in Vienna 10 years before World War II. The life that this book tells is characterized by what was then Jewish, and by the Zionist movement, which has since become more widespread among Jewish youth as a result of the post-war revolutions and counter-revolutions. But not only this movement is marked by the life of the Zionist leader, but also by the part of Judaism that wants to blend in vain, because of the spiritual, material, moral goods that one can obtain or love among a foreign people: and a greater need, which is almost instinctive, and, despite his will, drives the Jew who wants to be assimilated out of the hiding places, shelters, lookout towers, workshops offered to him by the host nation. This is the haunting of the buried population of the deeper need, pointing east. The place where his ancestors lived for millennia. Initially, Herzl himself saw the resurrection of this folk cartoon as a romantic dream, a novel. He had to reach the Kisenev pogroms. Without it, even Herzl's Jew is just a symbolic beggar's shelter, Gold-plated publishing in canvas binding, on the binding table and sometimes also on book pages with soaking imprints.
