Commentary to the Haftoras and Eicha, by R. Yonason Eibeshitz. With two title pages.
R. Yonason Eibeschutz (1690-1764), was orphaned of his father as a child and was raised by R. Meir Eisenstadt (Ponim Me’iros). He served initially as Rosh Yeshiva in Prague and in 1741, was appointed as Rov in Metz succeeding R. Yehoshua Falk (Pnei Yehoshua). In 1750, he was appointed as Rav of the joint communities of Altona, Hamburg and Wandsbeck (AHU), where he served until his passing. One of the greatest Achronim, he authored over thirty seforim on a wide range of subjects.
