RUBINSTEIN ANTON: (1829-1894) Russian Pianist, Composer and Conductor. An excellent A.M.Q.S., `Ant. Rubinstein´, a large, bold and very good signature example, one page, oblong 4to, musical score, London, 3rd June 1886. Rubinstein has very carefully penned three bars of music on two staves, for piano. Rubinstein has annotated above the score the musical tempo `Allegro´. The musical quotation was offered to Dr. Thor Johnson on the occasion of the `Early American Moravian Music Festival - Bethlehem - 14th to 21st June 1964´, and is very attractively presented in a folding red leather album with gilt embossed letters to the front cover. Small toning to the edges and an extremely small tear to the left edge. £1200-1800
