Catalogue of an exhibition prepared by the Jewish Society for the Promotion of Fine Arts (a precursor to the ŻIH/The Jewish Historical Institute, Warsaw). It was organized to accompany the commemoration of the 5th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The exhibition was held at 5, Tlomackie, the street where Warsaw’s Great Synagogue stood before it was blown up by the Nazis under the direction of Jurgen Stroop.
