Front: In the center of the medal you can see a cent from 1948. Around it is the inscription (In Hebrew and English): "MERCY SHOWN FELLOW MEN WILL WIN MERCY IN HEAVEN" , With the caption "GOOD LUCK".
Back: around the 1-cent coin, the caption "MOUNT SINAI HOSPITAL AND CLINIC, LOS ANGELES, CALIF". Under it the caption "THE INSTITUTION WITH A HEART" between two heart patterns.
