A letter from Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Jacobowitz from Koeln. Lugano Switzerland 1946.
A very interesting letter in which he describes his sacrifice for Torah, and that even in the worst of times throughout the Holocaust he always learned and managed to also teach Torah.
Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Yakobovich was a talmid of Reb Akiva Sofer, Reb Moredechai Meir Banett and more. He was the son in law of Reb Mordechai Lifshtat of Hamburg. He served as Rabbi in Koeln, Strassburg, and after surviving horrors of the Holocaust he escaped to Switzerland, and later in New York.
