A Semicha in the handwriring and signature of the Rabbi Shlome Eliezer Wiezel from Turna. 1930
Rabbi Shlomo Eliezer Wiesel, the tzaddik of Ternova was a student of the Kedushat Yomtov of Sighet and a prominent Vizhnitzer chassid. He received his rabbinical smicha from the Maharsham of Brezan and was appointed Av Beis Din of Ternova. He was renowned for his holy demeanor – his devotion to prayer, connections to other tsaddikim and involvement in chessed and tzedakah. He was highly praised by other renowned tzaddikim, such as the Ahavas Yisrael of Vizhnitz, the Maharid of Belz and the Admor of Satmar, who even sent his own followers to Rabbi Shlomo, with kvittels for heavenly assistance.

רבי שלמה אליעזר וויזעל הצדיק מטערנאווא. תלמיד בעל ה"קדושת יום טוב" מסיגוט. היה מגדולי חסידי ויז'ניץ. נסמך ע"י המהרש"ם מברעזן ונתקבל כאב"ד טערנאווא. מפורסם בעבודתו הקדושה – עבודת התפילה ובהתקשרות לצדיקים. פעל רבות בעניני חסד וצדקה. גדולי הצדיקים, אהבת ישראל מויז'ניץ, המהרי"ד מבעלזא, והרה"ק מסאטמר שבחוהו ביותר.
בסוף ימיו התחיל לנהוג באדמורו"ת בעידודם של צדיקי הדור והרה"ק רבי יואל מסאטמר שלח אליו יהודים עם קוויטלאך להוושע אצלו.
