Mochalov Mikhail Aleksandrovich (1904 - 1969) - painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1933. He was born in 1904 in the village of Abat Abat volost of Ishim district of Tobolsk province. He studied at the Omsk Art College (1928-1931). Since 1931 he lived in Novosibirsk. He was the head of the arts sector at the regional department of Narobraz (1931-1934), organizer and first chairman of the regional West Siberian (regional since 1937) organizing committee of the Union of Artists (1933-1941), chief of the Novosibirsk Art Gallery (1957-1958).

He was a participant in art exhibitions since 1933. All pictures are in the Novosibirsk State Art Museum and in private collections.
