Dimensions: 42х29 cm
Condition: in a decent state of preservation, with small crease marks, surface smutting (on the one side - traces of wetting and drowning as dried yellow spots)
Kurilko-Ryumin M.M. (1923-2012).
A corresponding member (1988), later a full member of the Academy of Arts (1995), an academic secretary of the Department of Decorative Arts of the Academy of Arts (1988-97), secretary-academician of the Department of Theater and Cinema Decoration Arts of the Academy of Arts (since 1997), chief scientific secretary of the Presidium of the Academy of Arts (1992-96 and 1998-2009); Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1970), People's Artist of the Russian Federation (1993), Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (1996), full member of the Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic (1998) and of the Academy of Humanities of the Russian Federation (1995), later a professor (1989).
National awards: Order of the Patriotic War I degree (1985), "For Merits to the Fatherland" IV degree (1998), "For Merits to the Fatherland" III degree (2008). Gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation (2003).
Education: He studied in VGIK (1945-51), under F.S. Bogorodsky, Y.I. Pimenov, G.M. Šegal, B.V. Dubrovsky-Eshke.
Teaching: Faculty of Art (1951-61) in Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, since 1962, head of the workshop of theatrical and decorative art in The Surikov Art Institute in Moscow. He was a head of the Creative Workshop of theatrical and decorative art of the Academy of Arts (since 1992).
Member of the Union of Artists (since 1954, later Secretary of the Board of the Union of Artists of the USSR in 1983-88), member of the Union of Theater Workers (1984).
Participant in the Great Patriotic War.
He was a production designer of more than 200 performances, a production designer for the movie Noisy Day (Mosfilm, 1961), and an author of articles on the visual arts in periodicals, television broadcasts.
Departmental and other awards: Gold Medal of the Academy of Arts (1995), Award of the Union of European Writers and the International Award of Order of the Cross of the Eagle (2008).
