Five Broadsides about Illegal Immigration and against the British Immigration Policy
Five broadsides denouncing the British policy of preventing the entrance of ships with illegal immigrants to Palestine and the deportation of illegal immigrants to detention camps. [Palestine], 1940-1945.
1. A broadside about SS "Milos" and SS "Pacific". November 6, 1940.
2. "To the masses of the Hebrew Yishuv – approx. two thousand Jews from those tortured in Nazi countries have managed to reach the shores of the country" (Hebrew), broadside from November 1940.
3-4. A broadside published after SS "Darien II" reached Haifa (20.3.41) and a later broadside issued by "the illegal immigrants of Darien in Atlit" (Hebrew).
5. A broadside published at the time SS "Berl Katznelson" reached the shores of Palestine, November 1945.
