Letter of recommendation given to Moshe son of R. Yechiel Ausch of Paks, dated 1885.
Rabbi Pinchas Steiner (1845-1912), studied under Rabbi Avraham Tzvi Abelesz of Sharbagrad, Rabbi Eliezer Zussman Sofer of Paks and was a favoured pupil of the Kesav Sofer. Dayan of Paks (1880) and Rabbi of Ilok (from 1890). Renowned for his Torah scholarship and for the fulfilment of his blessings. Author of Berisi Shalom and Pesach Devarecha.
